10. ONLINE MARKETING

DoubleClick by Google

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick"). DoubleClick uses cookies to show relevant ads to users, improve campaign reports, or prevent users from seeing the same ad multiple times. Google records which ads are shown in which browser using a cookie ID to prevent duplication. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimizing the marketing of our website according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

DoubleClick also uses cookie IDs to track conversions related to ad requests, such as when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser’s site with the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies contain no personally identifiable information.

Since this tool automatically establishes a direct connection between your browser and Google’s server, we inform you to the best of our knowledge that Google may collect information indicating that you visited a specific part of our website or clicked on our ad. If you have a Google account, Google may link this visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google, your IP address may be collected and stored.

Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords' online advertising program, including Google AdWords Conversion Tracking, by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use Google AdWords to draw attention to our offers on external websites, tracking the effectiveness of ads to show relevant ads and ensure fair ad cost calculation.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google AdWords ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not identify individuals. If the user visits certain pages and the cookie is still active, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked the ad and was redirected to this page. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie, preventing cross-tracking.

The information collected with the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers only see the total number of users who clicked their ad and reached a conversion-tracking-tagged page. Personal identification is not provided.

If you do not wish to participate, you can block Google’s conversion tracking cookie through your browser settings. This will exclude you from conversion tracking statistics. We use Google AdWords for targeted advertising based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

11. WEB ANALYTICS SERVICES

Google Universal Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies," text files stored on your computer, to help analyze how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA.

This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension, which ensures that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form to exclude direct personal reference. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all features of this website fully. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Alternatively, within mobile device browsers, click the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain; if you delete your cookies, you must click this link again): Disable Google Analytics

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the "Privacy Shield" data protection agreement between the USA and Europe, ensuring compliance with EU data protection standards.

This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows, conducted via a user ID. When accessing a page for the first time, the user is assigned a unique, permanent, and anonymized ID, which is set across devices. This enables interaction data from different devices and sessions to be assigned to a single user. The user ID does not contain any personal data and does not transmit such data to Google.

You can object to the collection and storage of data via the user ID at any time with future effect. To do this, disable Google Analytics on all systems you use, such as in a different browser or on your mobile device. You can deactivate it using a browser plugin from Google at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Alternatively, within mobile device browsers, click the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain; if you delete your cookies, you must click this link again): Disable Google Analytics

12. RETARGETING, REMARKETING, RECOMMENDATION ADVERTISING

Facebook Custom Audience via the Pixel Method

This website uses the "Facebook Pixel" from Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Facebook"). With explicit consent, this can track the behavior of users after they view or click on a Facebook advertisement. This process evaluates the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize future advertising efforts.

The data collected is anonymous for us, meaning it does not provide any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, allowing it to connect to the respective user profile, enabling Facebook to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's Data Use Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This allows Facebook and its partners to display advertisements on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes. These processing activities only take place with explicit consent according to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Consent to the use of the Facebook Pixel may only be declared by users who are older than 13 years. If you are younger, please ask your parent or guardian for permission.

Facebook Inc., based in the USA, is certified under the "Privacy Shield" data protection agreement between the USA and Europe, ensuring compliance with EU data protection standards.

To disable cookies on your computer, you can set your internet browser so that no cookies can be stored on your computer in the future or that already stored cookies are deleted. Disabling all cookies may limit some functions on our website. You can also disable the use of cookies by third parties, such as Facebook, on the Digital Advertising Alliance website at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
